Ugly Sweaters and 'Staches

Just FYI, all of our posts are just catching everyone up on what we've been up to! Once we've caught up, it will stay current.

Our good friend Ambria put together an "Ugly Sweater and 'Stache" Christmas party. Everyone wore the most disgusting sweaters they could find and the boys grew whatever kind of mustache they could. (Scott and Cody were the ONLY two who did this, and it was amazing.) We had a fun-filled night of picture bingo, food, prizes and pictures! It is always a good time when you get to catch up with old friends. Ambria is always really good at throwing parties and such together. Thanks Ambria!!

Elise, Chelsea, Ashlee

One of the best things about this party was the fact that Ambria and her roommates decided to get crafty on us. They got together and put this fake fire place up in their living room for amazing photo opportunities.

Ambria and Elise- sassy

Scott and Elise- hot

The best part of the night- by FAR- were Scott and Cody's hair and mustaches.

We'll see what crazy-themed parties Christmas will bring next year...

Disneyland!!

For our one month wedding anniversary we decided to take a trip. Our favorite band, Year Long Disaster, was playing in Hollywood California at a club called the Roxy. So we drove to Cali to see the show. As usual, the show was a good time. However, we almost died from the cold on the way back to the hotel that night. But it was worth it!

This is us in Hollywood! We've been here together before, so we know all the cool places to go.

We found a cool costume shop near the club - that's where we found these fantastical hats.

After our concert we were thinking about driving to San Francisco for an afternoon trip. (Yes- we realize how far San Fran is from Hollywood, but we LOVE it!) But then my amazing husband decided to take me to DISNEYLAND! I am the luckiest wife. I love Disneyland and during October it is decked out for Halloween and I have always wanted to see it! (Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my all time favorites!) So, we had some great times at Disneyland.

The entrance alone was SO exciting!

Neither of us have been to Disneyland in years, so we were both excited to ride some great rides and see all the fun stuff. We loved the Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Carribbean, Haunted Mansion, and Space Mountain! VERY entertaining. Splash Mountain/Magic Mountain was not so fun and we waited in line for hours!! Boo...

Us- soaked to the bone!

And of course the must-have photo of the Disneyland Castle

This was our most favorite ride

We also enjoyed shopping! Disneyland has the coolest stores and awesome souvenirs. We tried on a few items ourselves...

Pirate- ahoy! And my husband is mad...

And the main event: Jack Skellington's house!!

We had a blast in Disneyland and want to go back during another time of the year to see what cool things they come up with! I had a blast with my honey. This was definitely an anniversary we will never forget!!

Guardian Angel

We were married in September 2008.

It was a perfect day! We were lucky to have all our family, and a couple close friends there to join us during our ceremony. Our cousin did the honor of marrying us and did an amazing job! We were married outside in perfect weather and under a gazebo. We did the double-reception thing. and even though it was exhausting, it was definitely worth it! It prolonged the celebrating process and we got to see many of our friends and family! It was the happiest day for both of us and we thank everyone that celebrated with us and supported us. It means the world to us! We will never forget our wedding day.

The Good Ol' Days

Most people who know us all ready know our history. But for those of you who don't:

We met back in 2005 at a birthday party, and chased each other around until mid-2006. We dated for two years and got engaged in June 2008. The proposal was PERFECT! We were having a picnic at a park and during a gorgeous sunset, Scott gave me a teddy bear (classic pooh bear) with the ring around the bow tie. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect night!
