You've Been Spooked

Our neighborhood has a tradition for Halloween -as I am sure most of your neighborhoods do. They doorbell ditch 2 families with some treats and an orange sign with a ghost on it and instructions. So, when you receive a treat with the orange sings you are supposed to copy the flier and make treats for 2 families that do NOT have the orange ghost posted in their window and doorbell ditch them. (Confused yet?)

A few nights ago Scott and I were getting settled in for the night and I went to turn off our yard lights. Well, as I approached my front door I heard what sounded like someone skateboarding in our driveway. Totally bizarre considering it was getting late and our neighborhood is mostly small kids. So I decided to peek outside and see what was going on. Our front door has a big window that we hate and we hung up some small curtains. So I swung the curtains aside and shoved my face against the glass to see who was skate boarding in my driveway. When I focused my eyes, I saw this mans face right in front of mine!

I was scared to death- to say the least and jumped back. I then realized it was my neighbor from across the street trying to doorbell ditch us some treats. So I swung the door open and both of us were just laughing and telling each other how badly we were scared. He was upset that I saw him dropping off the treats because it was supposed to be a secret but I took the delicious rice krispy treats anyway and told him not to worry about it.

The catch to this story: After my nice neighbor left and I was trying to tell my husband what happened in between all of my giggling... I realized that I just answered the door in my pajamas. With no bra on. Fabulous.

I believe I have a problem...

I think I have an addiction... actually, I KNOW I have one. I am obsessed with Disneyland. Totally random, I know. But we have been 3 or 4 times this year alone. And all because of a youtube video I was shown on Thursday. Scott and I packed up and went to Disneyland on Saturday and came right back on Sunday- DRIVING. It was totally worth it tho. Check out the video on youtube: Disneyland- Halloween Fireworks- XTREME HD- Halloween Screams Fireworks 2009. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlb_iPg1g7Q Totally amazing. And it was definitely worth the drive for that alone. But October is definitely the time to go to Disneyland. The decorations are awesome, the rides are awesome and the weather is great. (We are going to go in December as well and see how the Christmas decor is!) We had a good time to say the least.

All of our halloween decorations are from Disneyland. We have been 2 years in a row and it is pretty fun! Obviously- I am a fan of Jack Skellington.

Go Utes!

A couple weeks ago Scott and I went to the University of Utah football home game. We are big Ute fans. Especially my man. He works for the University AND he is currently in his Masters program there as well. So pretty fun.

Cool stunts from the marching band. This photo was taken upside down because we were on the other side of the stadium. I just flipped it for you so you could read!

This was the amazing sunset. I couldn't believe how vibrant it was. Nerdy I know. But it WAS beautiful.

The game wasn't super exciting to watch, but it was fun and I loved spending time with my honey. Scott's goal is to go to every home game this season. With all of his classes, we'll see how that goes. Go Utes!
