Vegas

We have the greatest friends in the world. I can't believe how blessed we are to know the people that we know and to have them in our lives. Two of these people are Eric and Colleen. LOVE them. A couple weekends ago they invited us to join them in Vegas for a weekend getaway. We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel and enjoyed a day in Vegas.

In the morning we decided to go to a little Pawn Shop that you may have heard about. We had to wait in a long line that went down the street, but we finally got in and had a look around. I have mentioned before that Scott & I love to watch "Pawn Stars" on the History channel, this is the Pawn Shop that we went to. It was a blast and all 4 of us had fun looking around the shop, buying some shirts and mugs from the show and meeting Old Man. He is the coolest. If you haven't watched this show- give it a try. It's hilarious and cool and really addicting!

After wandering around the outlets for a while we wanted to go to the Vegas Temple before heading home. It is SUCH a beautiful temple and we are so blessed to be able to go inside!

Needless to say, we highly enjoyed our quick trip to the city and can't thank Eric and Colleen enough for the good time and hotel!

Other goings on include our siblings. My sister-in-law Angie is awesome. She has been training for a triathlon that took place in American Fork for MONTHS. The day finally came for her to reap the benefits of her training. We drove down to show our support and got to the race just in time to see Ang zip past us on her bike and cheer frantically even though she couldn't hear us. We also saw her start the run. She finished and did a GREAT job. We are so proud of Angie and her daughters were very excited and proud of their mom. (Autumn kept saying, "I hope my mommy wins!!")

Also, we saw this little jelly-bean on Sunday and she had her older sisters t-shirt on that we gave her when she was her age... anyone know Trogdor on Strongbad/Homestar? How cute is that!?

The Master

Holy cow! Finals are over and we are back to normal life for 1 whole week until summer semester starts. We are loving the break.
Last Friday was quite the event: Scott graduated with his Master's Degree. I am so proud of him and all the hard work he has put into school. He has been an inspiration to me and has been so supporting and helpful in my pursuit of school and hopefully someday a Nursing degree. I am so proud of you honey!
