As we headed to the game we all of a sudden saw the car in front of us swerved to the left into traffic. (We were both in the far right lane about to exit off the freeway) And there was a big ol' trash can sitting in the middle of our lane. Split second decision and we swerved to the right. Our car started fish tailing. fish tailing some more. starting to straighten out. And then out of no where, our car decides to start spinning in circles. and run into the cement wall. and spin again. hit the wall again. and stop. So there we are on the freeway having spun in circles and smashed into the cement wall. We hadn't hit anyone else (A miracle!) and we were only a little banged up. Very lucky indeed. This guy who saw the whole thing stopped to make sure we were ok. So nice of him. And said he was shocked we did not roll the car we were spinning so fast.
We survived! I am so thankful that Scott is such a good driver. I know he kept us as under control as he could. If I was driving- who knows what would have happened. Our poor car is totalled and we have only had it for 10 or so months. It was brand new. *sigh* I am glad we are ok though! You can always buy a new car... but you can't buy a new honey.
